When should I arrive?
Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your selected spot, so you can get comfortable and ready for your photos. We’ll have complimentary refreshments and snacks ready for you.
What should I wear?
Opt for loose-fitting, comfortable clothing to ensure there aren’t any fabric/strap imprints on your skin. Once you arrive, we’ll provide a pair of comfy slippers and robes for you to change into. If you’re not comfortable being fully nude, please bring a pair of nude underwear with you.
How long is my photo session?
Each photo session will last 15 minutes—which is why it is very important to arrive early so we can remain on schedule.
Do I have to get naked?
Absolutely not. You’ll be draped in white sheets, so you can show as much or as little as you’d like.
What happens if I’m late?
If you think you’ll be late for your time spot, please give us a call at 416-951-0808. We will try our best to reschedule you later in the day, however this is not guaranteed.
What will happen to my photos?
All photos will be stored safely and privately on an encrypted hard drive. You’ll receive a selection of your high-res photos a few weeks after the shoot, and if your photo is selected to be showcased, we’ll contact you for your approval.
Why do I have to sign a model release?
In order for us to legally use your photos in the exhibition and on our website, we need your permission. Don’t worry, we will get you to approve any photos that are displayed on our platforms, in the exhibition and at the launch event.
Why do I have to get my own makeup/hair done?
Please keep in mind that this is a charity event. While we’ll do our best to provide touch-ups on the day of, we have limited resources to provide makeup and hair styling for 60 women. We encourage you to come fully prepared for your time spot and bring your makeup with you if you need to touch-up.
Will you be retouching my photos?
The goal of this event is promote feeling confident in your own skin, so any editing will be as natural as possible. However as a rule, we will remove any blemishes or spontaneous acne that you are uncomfortable with.
Are you recording video during the day?
Yes. We have an all-female video crew recording the fun on the day of the shoot. No nudity will be used in the footage and the video will be showcased at the exhibition.
When and where will the photos be displayed?
The photos will be displayed at our skinwork exhibition on March 9, 2019.
